Well here goes my very first attempt at writing a blog… I’ll start with saying this is definitely a stretch for me. I could never imagine blogging. Yet, I know I have so much to share with the world, with YOU. So why shouldn’t I share? The Lord has gifted each one of us uniquely, and one of my gifts, from Him , is the gift of encouragement… Encouraging others comes naturally to me. It’s the first thing I think of when I see someone, or if I’m talking to someone.
I have been through a lot of pain in life, and it has been the grace of JESUS CHRIST that has brought me through all of it. They say people can either get bitter or they can get better through the trials of life. I am so grateful that I chose to cling to the truth, allowing my trials to make me a better person today.
My hope and desire is that through my writings, men and women of all ages will be encouraged, edified and uplifted. Life is not easy, and we can all use some encouragement from time to time. Many of us feel lonely and isolated, even while surrounded by friends and family. Life is busy. Life is full. Life is complicated. Our inner beings, our hearts, our souls don’t have to be.
May these blogs of mine be a vessel of peace to you.
2 Corinthians 12:9 “...My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness…”
God bless you with His peace today~

Can you believe it’s been almost 2 years since you began this blogging experience, Tweeny!
I praise God for the impact you have had on so many of your readers, including me!
I just got a LONG article from my sister about the importance of being happy and how to be happy. Sadly, it’s straight from Oprah and her cronies. I wanted to send her something in return based on God’s TRUTH and my mind immediately went to you! Can you point me to something you’ve written I could direct to her? I wanted it to be written by someone other than me, which she would categorize as her Christian sister going off again – no matter how lovingly I said it. Thanks and God bless, my friend!

I love you Debbie! Your words of encouragement really blessed me. Thank you! No, I can’t believe I’ve been blogging for 2 years!!! Praise the Lord. Only God knew that ever since I was a little girl I loved writing. 🙂 I went through my blogs looking for ONE on the topic of “how to be happy” and I realized that ALL my blogs point to that ultimately, because all of my blogs are about LORDSHIP of Jesus Christ which is where true, lasting happiness is found. So…here’s a few of my favorites (below) that may more specifically lead to the TRUE meaning of how to be happy. But Debbie, unless we make Jesus LORD of our life, we will always be looking for fulfillment in all the wrong places. I know, because that’s how I lived my life before I met Jesus. Let me know if I can help you further. Also, I may have to write a new blog post on THIS very subject! So, thanks for the idea. 🙂
love you lots sis~
